Training on “Parliamentary Research and Public Participation”

A total of 9 parliamentary staff from the National Council and National Assembly of Bhutan are undergoing a training course on “Parliamentary Research and Public Participation” from 17th to 21st December 2018 at King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI training room), in Bangkok, Thailand.

The training course is aimed to assist the participants to develop knowledge and skills on conducting parliamentary research, promoting public participation and provide effective parliamentary services.

The Parliament of Bhutan and the KPI have co-operated in academic project activities including participating in academic seminars and study visits since 2014.

A total of 17 officials from the Parliament of Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and KPI are attending the training course.

King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI) is an public organization established as an academic institute with the mission to develop democracy and good governance.
