  • Visit to the National Council

    Proceedings of the National Council is open to the public. Public entrance is through entrance #3 and 4. Visitors who drive in can find ample parking space behind the National Council building. Entrance to the public car park is through Gate II from the main road at Langjophaka.

    Dates of parliament sittings are announced through the media and our website. The sittings commence at 10:00 AM and continue till 1:30 PM with a short break at 11:30 AM. At times, the National Council session may go beyond the normal time. Gallery/visitor cards are issued on first come first serve basis by the security personnel stationed in the National Assembly building. Visitors should bring along their identity card and a letter from the respective organization (if employed) to prove their identity. Visitors are not allowed to carry any items, such as sharp metals, electronics and edibles at any time inside the hall.
