ACC’s presentation to the Good Governance Committee on their Annual Report 2022-2023

The Good Governance Committee held a consultative meeting with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to discuss the Annual Report 2022-2023.

Twelve officials from the Commission led by the Hon’ble Chairperson attended the meeting.

The comprehensive presentation included the Prevention of corruption; Complaints and referrals; Investigation of corrupt acts; Overall performance of the Commission, and the challenges and way forward. Bhutan's Parliamentarian Integrity Index (PPI) 2022, which is a part of National Integrity Assessment, was also shared.

Following the presentation, the Members sought clarifications on various issues such as the prevention of corruption during election, necessity of ACC regional offices, a complaint tracking system, effectiveness of integrity clubs and preventive measures in combating corruption.
