NC members celebrates the Social Forestry Day

Today in the afternoon, the members led by the Hon'ble Chairperson of the National Council of Bhutan and the Hon'ble Speaker celebrated Social Forestry Day.Organized by the Hon'ble Minister for Agriculture and the Park Forestry officials, the twenty six Members of Parliament from the National Council and National Assembly were able to dig holes and plan 216 saplings at Depsi, Thimphu.

The coronation day of His Majesty the 4^th Druk Gyalpo was officially declared as Social Forestry Day and is celebrated every year with the planting of trees all across the Nation.
