Discussion on Motor Vehicle Agreement for the Regulation of Passenger, Personnel and Cargo Vehicular Traffic between Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal

NC held a meeting with Ministry of Information & Communication, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Road Safety and Transport Authority on Motor Vehicle Agreement for the Regulation of Passenger Personnel and Cargo Vehicular Traffics between Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal today.

The Agreement has been assigned to Legislative Committee for review. The meeting was chaired by Hon #39;ble Sonam Wangchuk (Mongar), the Chairperson of Legislative Committee. A preliminary meeting has already been held within the Committee and with NA members in order to understand the issues, concerns and positions of NA when it passed the Bill in the last session.

Eight senior officals including the hon'ble minister from MOIC, MOFA and RSTA participated in the Committee Meeting.
