In continuation to its stakeholder consultation, the Special Committee for TVET met with the officials from Bhutan nbsp;Jamchong  Thuendrel Foundation (BJTF), a registered civil society organization, today.
BJTF intends to facilitate and support graduates of Technical nbsp;Training nbsp;Institutes nbsp;(TTIs) nbsp;to find gainful and productive employment by nbsp;providing a conduit between them and job market. Amongst others, the meeting  shared ideas about how to support nbsp;trainees nbsp;of TTIs right from incubating business ideas, developing business nbsp;proposals linking to potential clients, and mentoring entrepreneurship programs.
The ultimate goal is to facilitate and encourage TTI graduates to build up a group of skilled workforce in different occupations so that they  can nbsp;take up different nbsp;technical and vocational services in the labour  market. This  in the long run, is  expected to change the mindset of society towards the TVET sector and improve overall image of TVET in the country.
