Today, the Social and Cultural Affairs Committee (SCAC) met with the Hon'ble Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat and an Attorney from the Office of the Attorney General with regard to the review of the Lhengye Zhungtshog (LZ) Act 1999.
SCAC was tasked by the House to review the need for a new LZ bill.
The findings will be presented in the summer session of Parliament.
