The Joint Committee on Civil & Criminal Procedure Code

The Joint Committee on Civil & Criminal Procedure Code (CCPC) met to discuss the Disputed Clauses in the Civil & Criminal Procedure Code (Amendment) Bill 2019 today at the Lhen-zom Khangzang National Assembly.

During the second Joint Committee meeting, Hon'ble Members from both the Houses came to consensus on all the seven disputed clauses with minor changes on few sections. The Committee’s decision will be put up to the plenary in both the Houses by the respective Committee Chairperson.

The disputed clauses will be deliberated in the upcoming winter Parliament Session.
