Public Accounts Committee (PAC)

Yesterday, Hon. Ugyen Tshering of the National Council was elected as the Chairperson of the PAC and Hon. Dil Maya Rai of the National Assembly as the Dy. Chairperson.

The Constitution of the Kingdom of Bhutan under Article 25.6 provides for the appointment of a Public Accounts Committee to review and report on the Annual Audit Report to Parliament for its consideration or on any other report presented by the Auditor General.
