NREC consults BCCI

The Natural Resources and Environment Committee of the National Council had a virtual meeting with the officials of the Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) today.The meeting is a part of the ongoing review of the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) under the Ministry of Finance. The meeting highlighted the private sector's views on the SOEs; impact of SOEs to the private sector; and possibilities of privatization of SOEs or the management of SOEs in Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The meeting concluded with a Question and Answer session.
