Good Governance Committee Elects Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson

The Good Governance Committee (GGC) of the National Council held its meeting today to elect the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Committee, and to discuss issues assigned to the Committee. 

The Committee unanimously elected Hon’ble Nima as the Chairperson and Hon’ble Sangay Dorji as the Deputy Chairperson. The Committee will review and present the Framework Agreement on the Establishment of the International Solar Alliance in the 29th Session of the National Council. The Committee will further discuss the Anti-Corruption (Amendment) Bill of Bhutan 2021 in the Joint Committee. On the policy front, the Committee will present issues concerning farm roads in the upcoming Plenary Session.
