Hon’ble Namgay Dorji Engages with Communities During His Constituency Visit
Hon’ble
Namgay Dorji commenced his official constituency visit to Punakha Dzongkhag on
January 5, 2025.
To date, he has visited seven Gewogs, where he outlined the role of the National Council, shared key resolutions from the 33rd session, and discussed recommendations from the 34th session.
He also addressed issues related to substance abuse, including drugs and alcohol. Furthermore, he is actively noting the concerns and suggestions raised by community members.
Hon’ble Namgay Dorji plans to continue his tour by visiting the remaining four Gewogs and is expected to conclude his visit by February 8, 2025.
