Hon'ble Nima Wangdi’s Constituency Visit to Tsirang Dzongkhag: Engaging Communities and Discussing National Priorities

Hon’ble Nima Wangdi, Member of the National Council of Bhutan, commenced his official constituency visit to Tsirang Dzongkhag since 6th March 2025.

As part of his tour, Hon’ble Member visited several remote chiwogs, where he diligently shared key resolutions adopted during the 34th Session of the National Council. His engagements provided a platform for meaningful exchange, fostering greater awareness and understanding of the Council’s legislative and review undertakings.

In line with national priorities, Hon’ble Nima Wangdi also visited schools and interacted with Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) staff to deliberate on the Draft National Education Policy (NEP 2024). The discussions were insightful, with educators and stakeholders offering valuable feedback and raising pertinent concerns for consideration.

Throughout his visits, Hon’ble Member attentively listened to the voices of the people, taking note of their concerns, aspirations and suggestions with utmost sincerity.

Reaffirming his unwavering commitment to His Majesty’s noble vision, Hon’ble Nima Wangdi also advocated public support for the Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) project, encouraging communities to offer collective prayers for its successful realization.

His constituency tour will continue with planned visits to the remaining gewogs, where he will further engage with local leaders, visit educational institutions and assess developmental needs and community concerns to inform future policy discourse.
