Legislative Committee Consults with Amanda Lees on the Alternative Dispute Resolution (Amendment) Bill, 2024

On October 25, 2024, the Legislative Committee (LC) met with Amanda Lees for consultation on the ADR Amendment Bill.

Amamda, who is a cross- border dispute resolution specialist based in Singapore. She is an expert in international arbitration Asia Pacific region, including in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, India, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia. Amanda is in Bhutan to train the arbitrators of Bhutan.

 The Legislative Committee took advantage of her presence in Bhutan and took the opportunity to consult Amanda Lees on various expects of arbitration law, more particularly on international best practices.
