Students and teachers from Wanakha Central School attended the National Council Session.
Today, students and teachers from Wanakha Central School, Paro, attended the Fourth Sitting of the National Council, where the House deliberated on the Review Report on the State of Tourism.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity for them to learn about the legislative process and comprehend how national issues are debated and reviewed in Parliament. This initiative sought to educate students about governance and encourage their active participation in national matters.
Although numerous schools
in the country establish Democracy Clubs to impart knowledge on governance and
democracy, observing the legislative process in real time afforded them a
deeper appreciation of the intricacies involved in decision-making for the nation’s
benefit.
